Cynthia M.'s Story
No money for college after high school, so for years I was a secretary, and hated it. Moved to Virginia in 1975, where I got an AA degree in computer programming in 1976 and became a programmer. Married in 1976, divorced 1978. Went back to school; got a BS in Information Systems in 1996. Met my second husband in 2006, lost him to lymphoma in June 2013.. a local small group. Not quite a vegetarian, but eat mostly fruits and vegetables, trying to live healthily. No children, but always have dogs in the household, currently one Lab. Read a lot, live very quietly, and ponder how life would have turned out if I'd done things differently -- I can look back and see turning points now that I didn't see at the time. Update July 2020: lost my last dog one year ago. Isolating to avoid COVID-19. Bored, but safe -- the goal is staying alive!
